"War on Ourselves" is an attempt to rationalise the post-war dissection presently taking place, of the Afghanistan war and of the combatants we sent there. Adam has a very impressive career history as a Walkley Award winner in 2007 for exposing police corruption in Victoria. He also worked in Zimbabwe in the 1990's covering major historical events such as the rise to power of Nelson Mandela, and genocide in Rwanda. He has filed stories for The Bulletin, Sunday, A Current Affair, and Australian Financial Review. Most recently, he has produced gripping, edge-of-your-seat podcast stories like The Great QANTAS Hoax , Kerry Packer's Gold and The Real Chopper. Adam's father was a Forensic Psychiatrist, and the influence of this is evident in the way Adam dissects complex crimes and circumstances, filtering out distracting noise, to hone in on the facts. It was a pleasure to be interviewed by Adam, and I am really grateful to have been offered a platform to speak about a subject I'm passionate about.Read full review »

Truth in reporting and great listening. There’s so many rubbish podcasts out there. This is NOT one of them. Balanced interviews combined with a flowing pace. Love your work Adam .

Adam couldn’t be more of a cop hater if he tried. In this podcast Shand scoffs at Police not fingerprinting the seized cash. What’s the point potentially 20 million people have touched it ! GOOSE

I listen to, or attempt to listen to, many of these crime podcasts and some I unsubscribe almost immediately but this is definitely not one of those. Really interesting and apparently well researched. With respect to Packer, the insurer would have paid out because of who Packer was, no questions...Read full review »
