Perfect podcast for those embarking on adult ADHD diagnosis journey
With much excitement and trepidation, I am booked in to have my ADHD psychiatric evaluation in the next couple of months. I have read a number of helpful adult adhd books, however this podcast was exactly what I needed to listen to at this stage of my journey. I share many of Katie’s thoughts, fears and frustrations with coming to terms with this new direction in life. Katie’s open and reflective story telling and sometimes self depreciative sense of humour is refreshing. It’s like catching up with a close a friend for a chat. I constantly need to pause and take notes with ‘Ahas’ and ‘me too’ thoughts. The term emotional mirror in episode 6 was a big one for me. Keep up the great work and good luck with your journey. Joe
