I work as a commercial archaeologist and often spend hours watching a machine removing topsoil without finding anything to interest me. I discovered John's podcasts a wee while ago and they are now a permanent feature on my playlist. Travelling around Asia with John not only provides me with interesting and informative entertainment, but helps me remain engaged with the job in hand. There are now many more places on my to visit list! I have an issue occasionally with adverts, but as another reviewer has pointed out it is only when using 4G to listen....I now download them all. Also, occasionally interviewees aren't as audible as they could be and I lose the sense of the interview, but listening to the podcast in close proximity to a noisy machine probably doesn't help!
