I, a Jesus-following gentile, have long been staunchly pro-Israel and have spent a lot of time studying Jewish history, learning a little Hebrew, and praying for peace in Jerusalem. I’m well aware that Jewish people are the most persecuted group of people on the planet and are continually (literally and figuratively) in front of the firing squad simply for existing, but this book brought me to an even deeper understanding of the cruelty and hatred these people have endured for millennia. I feel like saying something, but everything I come up with is trite. Thank you, Dara. I’m listening.”
