Caution: Obesessed with this Podcast!
From the moment I started listening to the Affordable Interior Design podcast, I've experienced AHA! moments which have educated me about the path to becoming an interior designer. From Betsy's informative interviews with her own designers to the answers she provides to her listeners, I was able to glean so much information. I've even been known to stop and replay sections of the podcast to jot down the juicy tidbits that Betsy shares so freely. I had always assumed a college degree in design was an absoute necessity, and for some design work it is, but not for working with clients to create spaces which are not only beautiful but are optimized for flow, function, and coziness. Not to mention her tips for shopping at stores that are affordable for regular folks, not just the rich and famous set. I've binged most of the episodes from the last 5 years and always listen to the latest podcast the moment I'm notified it's available. Much to my delight, in this week's episode Betsy announced she is beginning a YouTube channel- what?!?!?! Is there anything Betsy won't do to make interior design attainable and affordable? Thank you Betsy, can't wait to hit SUBSCRIBE and I also can't wait to begin my AID course to become a certifed interior designer!Read full review »

Just discovered this podcast and I love it! Betsy provides a lot of tips that are accessible and not intimidating. I also love that the episodes are a shorter length. You don't need to have 45 uninterrupted minutes and that's awesome!Read full review »

This show is perfect for my subway rides, at approx 15 minute each. The content is catchy and entertaining while providing constructive advice for interior design ON A BUDGET. I look forward to every Tuesday when a new show comes out.
