Where is the research?
Albert Pierrepoint - a long section of this podcast is about the mythology that arose from him after his death with a death mask and death cast of his hands. Literally a 2 second google would tell you that these were life casts. “Have you ever heard of another death cast of hands?” they ask. Why? These aren’t even that. Franklin - “Over 250 years ago”. Maths not my strong point but the 1840s? If you are talking as experts, please fact check. Equally, “how interesting” said at the end of so many statements starts to sound sarcastic. I really wanted to like these, but I want facts, not conjecture.

Always found myths and folklore interesting - this makes great listening! You asked for ideas - get yourself a copy of ‘Folklore Myths and Legends of Britain’ - published by Readers Digest in 1977.
