thoughtful discussions
Unfortuntely, Star Wars fandom has become a pretty toxic place since Disney acquired Lucasfilm. There's an us versus them mentality, where fans either hate or love a film, with no in between. Fans spend way to much time arguing about whether or not a film is good and far too little time trying to understand what it means. I recently discovered Aggressive Negotiations and found Matt and John to be a breath of fresh air. They approach Star Wars in an incredibly thoughtful manner. They take a different topic every week and try to get at some of the deeper themes. What I really appreciate is that they acknowledge reasonable people can disagree. They present their arguments respectfully, and really try to understand where other people are coming from. I feel like these guys really get Star Wars and I learn something from them in each episode. Definitely recommended.Read full review »

They aren’t afraid to go deep into a particular topic, and their knowledge of the TV shows and the EU is excellent. A great podcast to listen...Read full review »
