This week, we're joined by Dr Susan Willis Chan who works in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph in Canada where she conducts research in entomology, ecology and biology. In this episode, Susan gives us a closer look at the Ground-nesting Hoary Squash Bee – of which she is a species expert on – and discusses the impact of activities such as agricultural intensification, habitat loss, pesticide use and climate change on the species.
