“Being a fan of aviation and fascinated with flying (but probably too old to become a pilot) I listen to Captain Jeff's excellent podcast and soak up every episode. Discovering it somewhat late in the game, I've downloaded all the episodes and have been listening to them in order over the last few weeks - usually on my walk to work. He never fails to discuss topics I am either curious about or find interesting once he tweaks my curiosity. I really appreciate his understanding that there are people like me who find it fascinating to see beyond the flight deck door. His respect for his listeners, his commitment to answering questions, his willingness to share his honest personal opinions as well as strictly factual information all make for a rewarding experience every time I start a new episode. His familiar voice and format for the podcasts have left me feeling that I've made a new friend and I have a smile on my face every time he introduces a new show. The mixture of technical information about flying airliners and his comments on his experience of the lifestyle never fail to make me feel I've learned a lot every time he posts a new podcast.
