Intriguing story, podcast meanders
Interesting interviews, engaging music, and well produced sound. Erin’s story is sad and the mystery frustrating. The narrator makes the podcast too much about himself, and he muses repetitively about his process. We want to hear about the story, not about the narrator. It is extremely disappointing to hear him say at the end that he didn’t follow leads or talk to people because “those roads were too dark.” Really? He didn’t follow them not because they weren’t credible, but because “those conversations would have led to places [he] didn’t want to go.” Come on. Follow those leads.

I really wanted to like this podcast, but unfortunately each episode felt like a lot of fluff and maybe 10 minutes of actual information about the case at hand. Way too much time spent listening to musical transitions and narration about the weather.
