“Sadly, I barely like it.
I’m a lifetime Alaskan, musician, and voracious consumer of all things True Crime, including podcasts aplenty.
I was excited about a well-produced podcast with stories from my home state, but the more I listened, the less excited I was. There isn’t much to the story, so the narrator relies on more repetition than is necessary. He also muses way too much and there are music breaks that are way too long. 30-45 seconds of just music? Dude. No. In addition, this podcast is so heavily produced, that it is NO WONDER to me that the production is completed by a musician who also produces his own music. Eyeroll.
Speaking of which, I respect musicians, and I completely understand why he used his own music, but I’m just not a fan and I wish he could have mixed it up with other music.
Much room for improvement, here. I hope the next story isn’t the same.”
