It’s a bit of fun! Not to be taken seriously just lighthearted entertainment and information for us listeners - if you want serious news go to SBS or ABC For the rest of us it’s simply enjoyable Love you girls!!

Great show, I found it by searching for mysteries, played the first few episodes and found they were all the weird mysteries I’ve always loved from when I was young. At first I found your researching pretty half arsed but then got hooked on your banter, and found I loved the mysteries delivered...Read full review »

I’m a new listener, so very late to the party. Sorry about that. I’m an American/wannabe Aussie that loves everything Australian! I texted my best mate over there (I call her my Aussie sister and oh I miss her so much) and told her how much I love you and your pod and how much I think this would...Read full review »

I was really looking forward to something Australian. The language is unnecessary and highlights a lack of research on the topics. Then there’s the unstructured nature of jumping from part to part with no logic. I may have put up with the issues if it weren’t for the fowl language. Shame.

Too much use of the word f$@k These girls have no respect for proper English or themselves. Clean up your act. Trash mouth is nothing to be proud of.

I was interested to find a podcast that covers Australian Crime stories and found this podcast. I was disappointed as this podcast is 80% the two co-hosts chatting away casually, seemingly forgetting the listener, and amusing themselves with gossipy chat and indulging in their own banter. There...Read full review »

I understand it’s not Case File, and love a bit of banter - but nearly every second ep is a bit of a drag. So much “like”, not learning the pronunciation of the places/victims etc but love the premise and definitely a few giggles. Gets better as it goes on

Really hard to find a good crime/mystery podcast based in Australia, it’s been an absolute pleasure to listen to and these ladies certainly make my evenings with their humor.

I LOVE true crime, conspiracy theories and Creepy pastas podcasts etc These two Aussie (pronounced Ozzy) Gals are as good as any team out there. And I found them really refreshing. It's great to hear good Australian Podcasts coming from Melbourne, Australia myself.Read full review »

I really want to give this a better rating because the cases and subject matter have the potential to be really interesting. But of the two girls (Josie and “the other one” (I’ve not been able to listen to more than two episodes and she hasn’t introduced herself)) the other one interrupts Josie...Read full review »

Everyone is of course, entitled to their opinion. The girls say immediately, it’s a fun chat and banter. I personally love it, swearing and all. If you’re wanting hardcore serious facts etc, this is NOT for you. I’m super late to the party but I’m soo glad I came! P.s to the “bloke” comments.....Read full review »

I was excited to listen to the Peter Falconio story episode however upon listening I was very disappointed. I found the girls to be distracted and all over the place, going off on tangents continually which interrupted the story. The info presented in the story also seemed poorly researched and...Read full review »

Less chatter, more good stuff. You’re called ALL AUSSIE MYSTERY HOUR not GURLS CATCHUP Please do not mislead so many people like my self just trying to find a decent podcast. You do you, just don’t see how this has a large following. Maybe it’s because I’m a male. Cheers

just found this podcast and I’ve been binging. I love true crime but get scared easily and i think they have the perfect blend between fun and serious!! seriously I want to be friends with them. also, as an American I’m obsessed with their accents. so fun to listen to. i LOVE the chitchat.

Skip ahead 20 mins, then you’ll get the content you came for. First 20 mins is just rambling, as if we know who these people are and as if we care about what they’re talking about. My review is harsh, but we want to hear about the topic you titled the episode after.

This podcast feeds my inquiring mind about true crime with bonus gal time! How they mix light hearted banter with the mysteries is amazing!

Hey girls! Thank you so much for this podcast. I’ve just started listening to it and I am loving it. You both have lovely voices (I love your accents) and are very entertaining and clever. I really liked season one, but as season two progressed they chatted more and I got bored. I love the podcast and enjoy the general chats during the discussion of the case, but I hate that I have to skip through the first 20+ minutes to avoid the chat about boring, unrelated things. My new favorite true crime podcast. It’s a great change of pace, especially for an American listener. It’s like in a conversation with two friends - chatty, a little rambling, interesting but not to the point of distracting. Other reviews say it sounds amateur and I think that’s part of what I enjoy. Absolute drivel. Neither informative or amusing. Poorly researched, if at all. They seem to just recite pages from Wikipedia complete with inaccuracies. So good. I feel like these gals are my mates. The mysteries are very mysterious and told like a ripping yarn. Any deviations from the actual story are well justified and simply add to the rich tapestry that is AAMH. 100 gold stars.
