The “should I raise my kid vegan” episode was so upsetting I had to unsubscribe from the podcast. Dispensing medical advice in the form of this wellness podcast is misleading and could be dangerous.

A bit dangerous as not always clear whether the presenter is being serious or sarcastic, nor is it clear which information is from proper peer-reviewed science and what is just the opinion of a guest. For a show that claims to be debunking myths, it doesn’t really do that; it mocks people like...Read full review »

I was enjoying working my way through some of these until I got to the Sad Mouse. A lighthearted take on vivisection? No, not for me thanks.

I find it really disapointing that this has got through BBC edtitorial. It's not all bad but there is some seriously questionable science interlaced with good science. The tipping point for me was listening to Deepak Chopra talk about the brain, an author who amongst many things promotes...Read full review »

Tim Samuels covers a variety of topics regarding healthy lifestyle in an interesting format. Good guests and good information! Across the pond is waiting for a new show! Keep up the good work.

Love the subjects and presentation brings together a lot of interesting facts. I just wish it could longer and more in depth. For example Scary Dairy should really go into animal and environmental impact. They also mainly talk about adults dietary requirements and not children which should of got...Read full review »

I've listened to all the programmes now and won't be listening any more. The smug, leftie-London media bias just can't keep itself away from the usual anti-Americanism and in-vogue politics du jour. He has contempt for America but can't keep away. In the dairy episode he speaks...Read full review »

Super punchy, fun and easy way to hear about what's going on in nutritional science today. A primer that's enjoyable and great way to sound like you know what you're talking about at the dinner party when someone tells you they just "went Keto" ;)Read full review »

A great new podcast! It’s already an instant favorite. It’s got the depth and storytelling of This American Life, 99% Invisible, and Radiolab - but with a real sense of humor (like Pod Save America). I learned loads and laughed out loud. Send more over please BBC!

There are already thousands of food, diet, nutrition, and health podcasts and YouTube channels, many of which are far better than this attempt by the BBC to jump onto the podcast bandwagon with meandering, uninformative, and unnecessary ear fluff.

As a dietitian I listened with interest in a podcast claiming to debunk nutrition myths, however I was disappointed. No dietitians involved in the milk episode and the academics used made some claims that are not truly evidence based. Blood tests cannot identify gut allergies, it is misleading...Read full review »

Over produced rubbish with way too many sound bites and jingles. Unlistenable, even for a four minute podcast!
Mooncup via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/02/19
Almost unlistenable! Too many jingles and other pointless interruptions diminished what is a serious, complex and interesting subject. Interviewees were rapidly introduced and seemed to be required to shout their information. No problems with American accents usually, but don’t expect American...Read full review »
