Episodes
Nolan and Ema make it all the way through the episode without referencing Twin Peaks or The Sopranos. They do mention I Think You Should Leave twice however. RIP Boone

Hey folks, we’ve got some audio issues in the back half of this episode. Nolan’s audio will drop for a few minutes. Nothing major but we’ve elected to leave the silences in instead of editing them out, so that’s what the deal is. We’ll be working to make sure it doesn’t happen again! Thanks for listening!

Have you seen the movie Lost in Translation? I haven’t, mostly because I missed it when it came out and I am way over Bill Murray’s whole schtick by this point. I’ve heard it’s a good movie though. That said, this episode isn’t about the movie, so it really doesn’t matter either way. Also, this episode was recorded in the dining area of a Chuck E Cheese.

If you’re looking for controversial opinions on the Payless foot measuring devices or the film Robocop then PLEASE listen to this episode

Ema and Nolan talk about the 15th episode of Lost, Homecoming. Nolan mistakenly calls Vincent a golden retriever instead of what Vincent actually is, which is a yellow lab. But hey, sometimes you gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelette, know what I’m sayin’?

It’s time for the long awaited Michael and Walt flashback episode, and it doesn’t disappoint. Plus Nolan and Ema discuss Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, and TikToks that make them cry. Note: Nolan recorded this episode from a bus station bathroom

NAUR BLOOD RELATION!! This week, Ema and Nolan talk about the two things they’re most passionate about: eating sea urchin and not liking the Boy Scouts organization. They also talk about Hearts and Minds, the first Boone episode. Good luck.

Sometimes Lost is great, and sometimes it’s REALLY great. And then sometimes it’s kinda bad. You gotta deal with the bad to appreciate the good though, that’s what I think. That said, this podcast is always good, so you should feel confident about listening to this episode.

This is not a drill!! Brand new episode of All The Best Podcasts Have Daddy Issues is out, and it’s time for the very first Claire episode. Ema and Nolan talk about Raised By Another, which leads them to topics like ‘what is the Australian foster system like’ and ‘did Ken Jennings get #MeToo-ed’. You won’t want to miss this episode!

‘We all float down here, Georgie’… that’s a quote from Pennywise the clown. Why is it relevant here? Well, because something happened to Nolan’s audio and it sounds like he’s recording from inside of a sewer. Whoops. Nolan and Ema talk about the first Sayid episode, Solitary, and boy do they have a good time doing it.

I’m not a confidence man I’m a confidence, man. I know that doesn’t really make sense but I think it still needed to be said. Ema and Nolan talk about Confidence Man, and guess what? It’s pretty great!

Nolan and Ema pull out their hottest takes this week for what is sure to be their most controversial episode yet. Even the greatest fashion choice that the show has made so far isn’t enough to spare The Moth their wrath.

Bees, heartfelt apologies, poorly executed Godfather references… this episode really has it all. Nolan and Ema talk about House of the Rising Sun, and they just might learn a thing or two about life along the way.

One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small… and the pills that All The Best Podcasts Have Daddy Issues gives you don’t do anything at all! Just kidding, we will NEVER give you any pills. It would be irresponsible of us. Strap in Alice, because this week Nolan and Ema are talking about White Rabbit. Daddy issues, Carol Burnett, proper airline documentation procedures… I mean the list goes on.

What’s a walkabout? That feels like one of those dumb jokes, like henweigh or updog right? Do you remember those jokes? A walkabout is not one of those jokes though, it actually has some cultural significance to aboriginal people in Australia. Shame on you for making light of that. Nolan and Ema talk about episode 4 of Lost, and Nolan tries to reference the movie Speed Racer multiple times under the radar. It’s pretty obvious though. Just a note, there are a couple missing sections in this...

Tabula Rasa translates to ‘blank slate’. You ever wish you could give yourself a blank slate? Just unburden yourself of all your sorrows, and live anew? Me too. Unfortunately this episode doesn’t provide that for us, no matter how much we may wish that it did. It’s still a pretty good episode though, and Ema and Nolan are here to talk about it!

How can you follow up Pilot Part 1?? Well, with Part 2 of course! Some weird, wild stuff is happening on The Island this week, and Nolan and Ema are more than happy to talk about it.
