What a thoughtfully and beautifully composed documentation of so much that has been left out of the public eye. The story itself is heartbreaking and the impact of Mr. Allen’s defense on the public sphere, particularly as it relates to family court is one that demands a spotlight. My sincere...Read full review »

Well done! I hope the documentary becomes more available for streaming soon.

As a teenager in the 80s with a profound love of cinema, I was encouraged to watch some of his “classics” and distinctly remember finding them uncomfortable. Here was this old bald ugly man dating girls around my age. Ewww! I’ve refrained from watching his stuff ever since. Therefore... what I...Read full review »

Once upon a time, I thought he was a hilarious, ugly little man. Now I know he was a creepy, predacious, ugly little man. I remember listening to him take that poor woman over the coals, as he parades that idiotic girl around. I remember men being so triggered by Mia’s claims, and those women...Read full review »

I remember the press over this. I never did believe him. I always saw his movies as a plot to take advantage. Haven’t liked him since. I wish the family well 🥰

Incredibly interesting deeper dive into the work done by the extraordinary doc series. I am horrified by the statistics and facts surrounding child sexual abuse, but it is important work for all of us as a society to wake up to what has for too long been swept under the rug and victim-blamed...Read full review »

I have really enjoyed the podcast. I have a family member who is a survivor. I live overseas and cannot see the documentary. I wish is easier available on Apple TV.

The HBO documentary series is excellent, and so is this companion podcast.

This story is NOT one-sided, the only one-sided story has been Allen’s for years. How he got away with this is unbelievable, how he got away with being believed over Dylan while marrying his stepdaughter? come on!!!! Open your eyes!!! Even as a child I knew this guy was sick and the community...Read full review »

This is an eye opener on many levels. I was a child psychiatrist who worked with children who had been sexually abused. The perpetrators are narcissistic and yes they do parade their behavior in front of the public and even in front of professionals. However you are wrong about parental...Read full review »

Watch the HBO series and listen to this podcast. It covers so much more than just the actual events of Woody Allen’s abuse and the media’s response; it dives into the nature of sexual predators and how to help and support their victims. Excellent podcast covering a serious and sad topic.

Both the documentary and the podcast really answered a lot of questions that I had about both Woody and Mia. It seemed very fair and even-handed. My heart breaks for Dylan.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not that I don’t believe Dylan coz I do but there is too much unsaid and very one sided. What about the Abuse and the DEATHS of the CHILDREN in Farrows care!!! I would have given 5 stars, however the release time was so slow and where is Episode 4? The docuseries has been done for a while now. Frustrating.

I want to hear episode 4!! Wonderful podcast which provides additional insights rather than repeating what was already said on the HBO show. Anxiously waiting for the 4th ep.

I've listened to podcasts that go with TV series in the past and they mostly rehash what you've already seen. That's definitely not true on this one. This podcast is a great supplement to the series. I grew up reading and watching Woody Allen’s side in the media, not realizing the facts and details until much later. This is, simply put, an extremely lazy podcast. For one thing, it’s about a week late with every episode that comes out for the corresponding television episode. The podcast and documentary are entertaining and informative. I, for one, certainly do not know whether Woody Allen abused his daughter. What is disturbing to me is that there is no where to go to truly get an examination from both sides without an agenda.

This podcast is such a well done supplement to the documentary! I appreciate hearing from the family, friends, babysitters, and really value the hearing the experts who share important information about sexual abuse and betrayal of trust.

I was looking forward to this series until it was revealed that it’s seen only from the perspective of Mia and Dylan Farrow, whose accusation was made in the context of a highly-publicized custody battle. The show, and its affiliate podcast, are a case study in the artistic rendering and distribution off propaganda. I mean that as a compliment. I’ve been reading about how unfair HBO was in making the show 1 sided. WOODY has had the stage for years! He got his way so many times. Who believed a child, who spoke up and tried to get help? I’m so grateful to you all for the series and this essential companion podcast. You are shining a bright light on a pernicious, generational evil in our culture, and holding Woody Allen to long overdue account. In a reasonable society, he would be criminally charged.

Maybe I’m being simplistic, but is there any reason that, so far at least, no one has asked Dylan the direct question, “we know it’s painful, but now as an adult, can you please tell us, as far as you remember, what happened in the attic”?
