Facing reality
This podcast has solidified my conviction of church-goers’ need to take responsibility for their beliefs. Destructive, misinformed theology has been the death of many across history and will continue to poison us. Tim and Nate demonstrate the necessary critical analysis and empathy in taking hard looks at scripture and its contexts while not catering to any pastor’s or theologian’s ego. Their consideration of the Bible and its history is a valuable asset in equipping people to walk in freedom and the true gospel, and to set aside loyalty to toxic leaders.

Found this podcast because of an interview. As someone who has grown up in the church and left when it was unable to provide answers digging back into faith with doubt has been scary. These guys have affirmed my faith and made me feel better about searching for answers beyond where I came from.

This podcast is a Godsend. It’s a wonderful resource for anyone who has felt isolated from the church due to doubts about evangelical theology and under-equipped to tackle the big questions alone.
