“I wanted to like this but just couldn’t get past the hosts unending babbling. I would recommend the host take a class on public speaking and also write some sort of outline to follow when doing a podcast. He just talks aimlessly and ends up repeating himself. He says “uh” and “you know” ad nauseam. I tried to listen to the Skidmore episode but tapped out after 15 minutes since he still hadn’t even gotten to the meat of the podcast. He spent more time trying out his stand up comedy routine than covering the material. I suggest the host either switch his subject matter to comedy or try to treat his crime podcast with the professional edge the subject deserves. I listen to comedy podcasts to hear comedy. Who knows, maybe his other podcasts are better but he lost me on this one. I have limited time and if I choose to listen to a podcast it’s because it’s done well and the subject matter grabs my attention. This one misses the mark on both of those.”
