Diana Velez is a New York born Puerto Rican, or "Nuyorican", who was searching for diverse content stumbled upon our podcast and thought it was great. But aside from the life-changing insight offered on our episodes, there was a more personal appeal. Diana's son is part South Asian as her partner is a Pakistani Christian; which makes her son "Pakirican." Listen in as we dive into the Bollywood proposal that snagged her, the issues that arose as they raised a child, and the cultural differences that ultimately helped end their relationship.
