I first heard about it because my friend was a guest on the show, but I have to admit I have completely devoured the entire health season. I'm loving the hosts as well as the guests and the "stupid question" portion is kinda fun. Highly recommend it.

I love listening to this podcast, and wish I had more of these conversation with my Desi friends! I really appreciate the focus on health this season, and how many topics they are able to cover, from both Western and Eastern perspectives. I also like how open Akaash and Arjun have been about...Read full review »

I wasn’t into podcasts, but then I started working a night shift at a tech company and had to pass the time somehow with something other than music. A friend told me about American Desis, and I’m 4 episodes away from being completely caught up, but I’m sad they haven’t really updated it in...Read full review »

These guys do a good job on discussing Indian culture and I've learned a lot about the traditions that I didn't know before. Some of the facts that they give don't seem to be correct though. It's just simple things but still. Most of the guests are interesting but at times it's obvious that they...Read full review »

Finally a vessel that can house progressive conversations about being South Asian in this country. I appreciate y'all.

These kids are brilliant. Really thorough on both sides of an argument. I usually have a hard time identifying with anything Indian and have always felt strange because of it, but these dudes have really normalized that feeling and show that it's more common than you'd think

In (not so) short, I wish the topics discussed focused more on South Asian specific issues (caste, colorism, taboos, religious, ethnic and cultural divides within our community, etc). The topics often lean towards issues faced by brown people within the entertainment industry, which I guess...Read full review »

Foundational for South Asian Americans. De-alianates and allows for young brown people to feel every bit normal and allows us to really own our American suffix. If you want funny, deep, rich, and stimulating conversations, then this podcast is the one for you.
