Thomas Jefferson abused Sally Hemings
I really enjoy all of Lindsay Graham’s podcasts. The are informative and detailed and well told. However, I was disappointed to hear Mr. Graham refer a “relationship” between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings. It was not a relationship. It was abuse. It was rape. She was was his property in his eyes. The time to romanticize this part of history has come to an end. I hope to hear a correction on a subsequent episode.
