One of my favorites
I have listened to a variety of paranormal podcasts over the last few years, and they tend to fall into two extremes. Some are overly dramatized, get bogged down in minutiae, lack clear direction, or turn into extended commercials. I generally don’t stick with these kinds of podcasts for more than a couple of episodes. On the other hand, there are podcasts that are entertaining, informative, and make you look forward to the new episodes with anticipation. American Hauntings is one such podcast; it’s one of the best out there. I’d like the fact that everything is based on history, as without it, it becomes difficult to explain what is going on with a location. I also very much appreciate the fact that Troy is a stickler for veracity. If something can’t be proven, or if it’s most likely apocryphal, he is quick to say that. Cody and Troy have done a fantastic job with this podcast, and it’s easily in my top three. And I listen to a lot of podcasts. Long commute. 😊

I haven't listened to it but I'm assuming it's good. *Update* I listened to it and enjoy it! Can't wait for more episodes to come out even though I don't like scary things. -BRead full review »

Just stumbled upon this pod cast, and I have really enjoyed the show. I am a history buff, with a particular interest in paranormal experiences. I have binged and listened to all the episodes to get caught up! Keep it coming guys!

Love the dynamic between the hosts and the opening narrative is always pleasing to the ear. The stories are all well researched and the hosts seem to have a true passion for history and haunts of their home town.
