“Too “Rah-Rah America for my taste. History should be presented from an unbiased, and critical lens, not invoking the “American spirit” every episode.
And while the host is experienced, this isn’t a good fit. His voice and presentation are dated; It’s like listening to an American Melvyn Bragg. (That’s not a good thing.)
Also, it’s hardly “left” leaning as other negative reviews would posit (if that matters to you), but then again, America’s “left” is considered conservative everywhere else..”
