Approachable and Empathetic History
While clearly written for a Western audience, American History Tellers likely applies it’s historic scrutiny with significantly less bias than your social studies teacher. Through it’s “Imagine a world where...” segments, which I think would be more effective if they weren’t used so often, casual listeners will learn about history through their own sense of empathy. While the show may not include enough details to please the history buff, it is nevertheless an effective history podcast that near any listener will enjoy.
