“Growing up in the DC area and being a fan of DC United from the beginning of MLS I was always intrigued by the rise and fall of Freddy Adu. When I heard that Grant Wahl, perhaps the best soccer scribe in the country, was going to do a podcast about him and have Freddie involved I knew it was a must listen. I’m 2 episodes in and it has been awesome. My favorite part so far has been hearing stories from those around Freddie during his meteoric rise, especially veteran player Alecko Eskandarian who had to deal with a 14 year old rookie trying to take his number from him. I can’t say it enough about the show. If you love soccer and good storytelling check this out!”
