This podcast is answering so many questions I had
I remember growing up when I got Sports Illustrated for kids that there was this kid called Freddy Adu, but then suddenly I never heard of him again. I’m only on episode 2 and I’m getting so many questions answered and a great inside look into Freddy’s life and career. My favourite moment so far has been the jersey number issue because I can totally see myself standing my ground for my number.

Freddy Adu reached the highest levels of professional soccer at such a young age and it is amazing to hear from Freddy, and those close to him, about how the decision was made to play in the US instead of one of the European powerhouse clubs in episode 1. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I’ve read and enjoyed some of Grant’s stuff in the past but this feels like some of his best work. Thoroughly sourced including interviews from the man himself, Grant has a great perspective because he was one of the first people to cover Freddy.
