Questionable Guest selection discredits you
I listen to a broad range of US political and legal podcasts and am unimpressed with Americast. The last episode that allowed the repeat of misinformation about the recent NY trial of Trump has confirmed my growing unease with the selection of guests, the quality of fact checking and political analysis. Allowing your Trump team guests to promulgate incorrect information (politically motivated rhetoric disguised as facts) about this legal action (information that US legal experts have repeatedly debunked) discredits you. There is no value in me continuing to listen so I am unfollowing. Really disappointed. - I expect much better from the BBC.

If you love American politics this is the show for you. It does what The Circus does for television to podcasts. Brilliant analysis that takes you beyond the headlines!

John Sopel is a master of his chosen subject, clearly knows what he’s talking about. The presenters get a bit too matey at times but it’s good all the same. Explained the machinations of the democratic leadership hustings really well.
