But some advice to Marianna: please stop giggling and making it appear that you are out of your depth. You’re not and bring an interesting viewpoint and dynamic to the show. But I just can’t deal with the self deprecating giggles, etc.

Good show, enjoy the content and editorial balance but please no more Undercover Voters. I just don't care. It's spoon fed out on every single episode and never gives any kind of insight. It's tortured now. Please leave them behind.Read full review »

Megan Kelly! Really? A hack straight out of central casting. The fawning intro almost made me gag. If you insist on these guests then at least put up a decent challenge to their duplicitous views.

This used to be “authorative” however the persistent giggling of Marianna detracts from the serious nature of the content. Let’s return to grown up journalism please.

This has become tedious. Justin Webb negative perspective on everything. The new republican guy on a Monday so full of himself. The concept was good, but it would be more insightful with a Maga republican. Less Justin more Katty Kay, Antony and Marianna

Unbelievable that Miles & Justin are normalising gun ownership & Fox News, while demonising NPR (who were not fined $800 million by the courts for lying) & Democrats who don’t own guns in a country where gun massacres kill more children than anything else. The BBC’s move towards the...Read full review »

This podcast reminds me of PBS NewsHour with flare and I appreciate how you cover American news so well.

Why was Justin Webb so rude about a BBC colleague, Alan Smith, in a recent podcast? Absolutely no need for the matter to be included at the end of the podcast when giving out contact details.

I love this show and I get that you guys need to be paid, but I just can’t afford it. Things are too tight right now. Thank you for all the episodes that I could listen to in the past. It’s been great, but it’s time to part ways

I used to enjoy this podcast until I learned about the subtle influence of certain foreign propaganda (and using a trusted brand!!). I observed how often this BBC Podcast **uses vocabulary to promote** Trump, MAGA, and the white Christian nationalist ideals trying to ruin America, while...Read full review »

Unfortunately in the run up to the 2024 election, Americast has become unlistenable. The both sideism is at this point laughable and irresponsible. Plus the presenters talk as if the podcast is political commentary at a remedial level. Issues are simplified and dumbed down and the explainers are...Read full review »

In a podcast criticizing Biden for uncaught errors, one Americast pundit said Obama when he meant Biden, and another pundit said Biden when she meant to say Trump. Neither caught their errors, nor did the other pundits. This is ironic considering their topic, and very sloppy. The BBC is usually...Read full review »

As a 23 year old conservative American, American media has seemed too biased for me recently. Love how this program actively critiques both parties when it is due.

This podcast has been trying to set itself out as a credible news source; which is something that takes a genuinely bi-partisan position to achieve. But it is miles away from that and has turned into one of the worst liberal apologetics productions there is. They’re now pretty much campaigning...Read full review »

Reading the last dozen or so reviews it seems you are both too harsh on Trump or not harsh enough. You are also apparently too left wing AND too easy on the Republicans. I can therefore only conclude you are balanced and not biased. Oh and Marianna is great. Excellent podcast.

Classic BBC: twice as many hosts as the average pod, all on the tax payer’s buck; unashamedly anti-Trump: and an intro that actually sneers at the United States.

Superficial, tabloid style approach that is a very poor cousin to a number of quality (American) podcasts on US politics. Opinionated but uniformed presenters who don’t even seem interested in doing their homework.

For goodness’ sake just call it Trumpcast. This show is dreadful sorry.. "Miss-Information" Oh good grief, if this the future of the BBC that I used to love, I am not optimistic. Sarah and Anthony come across as great reporters with integrity. Justin fine - but seems to reference personal (and professionally-irrelevant) aspects too much. Kermit was great. I was horrified to hear the other presenters suggest Trump shouldn’t be kicked off because of political consequences. It’s simply a question of law. He caused an insurrection and provided comfort. The 14th amendment clearly includes the president. If they specifically want to...Read full review »

I listened to the above episode and while I found the podcast insightful and pertinent, I do think Tommy Vietor‘s contribution mostly wishful thinking and partisan. I feel the host doesn’t give any pushback to guests when they’re obviously spreading falsehoods. They defended Prince Andrew before the dumb general masses were aware of the story. They covered for Jimmy Seville who was raping special needs kids in asylums. Google it. They tried to set up Tommy Robinson for daring to cover Muslim rape gangs thereby supporting said gangs. This is all documented.

I listen in the vain hope that the BBC will actually be impartial and give weight to both sides of any given news story.
