Inconsistent
This podcast has had a few real gem episodes over the 10 months. However, I've found it generally to lack consistency in both quality and frequency. Posts may be separated by one to three weeks which for an amateur is very understandable but for a Slate journalist seems subpar. In terms of content, as a previous rater noted Ms. Lithwick seems to need a stronger editorial hand at times with episodes that seem to really lack depth or drag on making the same point with little craft or nuance. Unfortunately, the one area of seemingly unfailing consistency for Ms. Lithwick is in her clear bias. While I believe I share many of her policy preferences, this podcast would greatly be enriched by an effort to be more inclusive of differing viewpoints. I wish the podcast well, but I can't recommend it.Read full review »

More reviews of Amicus With Dahlia Lithwick
Although I’m not a lawyer, I love this podcast. Dahlia leads the lay person into the weeds of Supreme Court jurisprudence and interviews the leading practitioners and journalists with aplomb. Brava!
