So dramatic
I am a huge Dr Phil fan and I was super excited for this podcast and the psychology behind the murders. Sadly, I can't even make it past the first ten minutes because it's not Dr Phil speaking candidly, it's him dramatically reading a scene from the crime and it's so over the top I just can't take it seriously. It sounds like he's reading a novel and doing it so over zealously that it's comical. Not what I want in a true crime podcast. Beyond that, the sound mixing is terrible, the advertisements in the early part are three times as loud as the actual podcast so I found myself running to my phone to turn it down and then having to turn up the volume again once the podcast returned. This podcast is an all around disappointment.Read full review »

I’m a psychology nerd, so I find Dr. Phil’s breakdown of this case fascinating! He takes us back to the very beginning and notes different psychological aspects that many narrations of this story lacks!

Sensationalizing tragedy and drawn out in a miserable cadence. This is beneath Dr Phil.
