“A friend recommended this podcast to me and even though I already have 30-40 podcasts in rotation, I picked this one up. Well I’m now behind in all my other podcasts because I just can’t stop listening to this one!
Genn and Jenny tell these historical events and describe the people and places and circumstances in a wonderful narrative that keeps you on the edge of your seat. They really nail good storytelling but also their commentary is exactly how I’d talk about this stuff with my friends. If my friends were as into this stuff as well haha. I also like how they take time to break down some of the sources and describe what that really means to a modern war so we can appreciate the settings and circumstances even more.
My only criticism has nothing to do with this podcast and everything to do with my anger that these podcast algorithms did not push this one as a recommendation to me! It’s 100% the perfect podcast for me. Get your $#*+ together Apple, Overcast, Spotify, etc! 😊❤️”
