“Having only written a few reviews, my hope is that I’m able to convey what my experience has been since tuning in to Shaman Durek’s podcast. I’m naturally a sceptic when listening to outsiders with answers to personal questions that come from within. It was purely luck, fate or most likely my guardian angel, who just so happens to be my wife, who asked me one night if I would hang with her while she tuned into Shaman Durek’s podcast. Of course I said yes, mainly with the hopes I would get laid afterward. Ok, so motivation in the beginning was dubious. No matter the motivation, the experience was transformative. By the end of the podcast, it was if we just had a private session which spoke directly to my wife and me. It sounds serious but that’s the cool thing, it was and it wasn’t. We found ourselves laughing like children, and looking into each other’s eyes the way we did when we first met. Believe it or not, that night’s podcast was the beginning of a journey of self exploration and a deepening of our marital relationship. What’s continued to surprise me are the lessons that I didn’t even know pertained to me. It now has become a ritual at our house, our date night once a week begins with listening to Shaman Durek’s podcast. Very cool and worth a listen even if you’re a sceptic like me.”
