I tried to get into this podcast several times, but it just isn’t happening. The hosts are a married couple who have awkward spats that should be edited out. It reminds me of when your friends get in an argument with their significant other, and suddenly you feel uncomfortable. Everyone gets in squabbles with their loved ones, but most do not include it in their true crime podcast. Ethan, the male host, is very condescending. They both virtue signal like their life depends on it. The last straw for me was the latest episode, Timmothy Pitzen. Kona inserts her judgement of women who are on medication for mental health issues and become pregnant. I think that is so awful to send that message to your audience. If they did any modicum of research before opening their mouths, they would find that it is actually more harmful for a pregnant woman and her baby to have untreated mental health issues, than take many available medications under the guidance of their doctors. Do some research before you present your listeners with false information.

By far my favorite true crime podcast. The victim-centered approach is so respectful to victims and their families. They do a great job bringing attention to missing people. By providing details on their current age, etc they provide a real service instead of mindless entertainment
