a life-affirming outlook
I have enjoyed the show for a while, but I felt compelled to write this review after hearing the Glen Keane episode. Not only did that episode offer insights into a legendary Disney animator, but it also touched on some of life's bigger questions: is there a higher purpose in our lives, is there a guiding influence, and so on. So refreshing to find that in an animation discussion. That kind of thing is what makes the Animation Addicts podcast so special. The show offers not just an extensive exploration of iconic animated films, but it also makes the case, without aiming to do so, that an appreciation for animation can actually be a philosophical outlook of substance. The camaraderie that the hosts have with each other and the affectionate enthusiasm that they have for their topic have inspired me on more than one occasion. The world would be a much better place if more people brought that kind of outlook into their own spheres of influence. Animation enthusiasts will find lots to appreciate here, and those who have been led to believe that they’ve outgrown animation might just come to recognize the error of their ways. Keep up the great work, you all! -Nick, The nsavides PodcastRead full review »

An avid listener, having stumbled upon the podcast in its infancy and early beginnings during episode 1-2, the show has always managed to keep discussions fresh, lively, informative and entertaining. Can't recommend them enough, for animators and animation fans alike.
