“This is such a wonderful production, with such love in every word and I am grateful it exists! The commitment, talent, and joy that infuse this beautiful rendition of Anne of Green Gables is nothing short of wonderful. It gave me a new appreciation for a story I thought I knew - and I found I loved it all the more. Mary Kate Wiles has put together something truly remarkable both in her unforgettable creation of Anne ( I will never be able to read this book without hearing her voice again) but also in her pitch-perfect casting of the story. A special mention must go to Whitney Avalon’s incredible performance as Marilla Cuthbert, she is brought wholly to life in a way I have never experienced before in an audio recording and I’m not sure I will ever have the pleasure of hearing again. This show is the unsung gem of the podcast world and I plan to go on singing it for the rest of my days. It made me ugly cry so hard by the end and I- unlike Anne - am not given to crying often. This is worth all of the time you have to give it. Thank you for giving Anne Shirley back to me.”
