I don't know if I'll care for an audio book, but I'll never read anything. Dear god, why would anyone want to hear shapiro read it in his whiny nasal voice?Read full review »

Have you ever involuntarily broken out into a grin because an imagined scene is so exciting and intense? S3 ep. 6 & 7 were like that for me. P.S. I envy everyone who participated in making this, and I’ll never be able to listen to audio fiction again—nothing can be better than this series.

This was outstanding. Fantastic. Brilliant. Heartfelt and hilarious and sarcastic and just incredible! I binged this entire series in a weekend and I’m begging Andrew and Michael to do more and more and more audio drama! Please and thank you. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Binge listened to all 3 seasons in a week and a half over the July 4th weekend and when traveling the following week. Klavan’s writing is inspiring and a few years ahead of its time when you look at the world in 2022. Knowles delivers in his performance and draws you into the character.

I have listened to it twice, the second time I drafted my husband into listening. I’m ready to listen for the third time and have recommended it to every person I have spoken to since the first episode. It’s eerily similar to our culture today.

The hero is everyman. The story is clever. The twists are surprising. The writing is rich. Knowles is cool too!

Such a cool story! I am absolutely hooked.

From someone who normally isn’t interested in fantasy, this is incredible. All 3 seasons on podcast and the two books out so far have pulled me in and sometimes I think I am myself traveling to Galiana. Keep up the amazing work Klavan and Knowles!!!

Phenomenal storyline! Well done. Music and sound effects were spectacular! Only two things kept from a five star. Too much swearing and explicit things. Other than that it is perfect!

I was never quite sure what he meant when he said this story wrote itself. Now I get it. Bravo Andrew. Great tale. Thank you.

I am enjoying the story a lot. A well-written story to be found in podcast, even for free. I found this story when season 3 was released, which is the final season. I downloaded season 2, too but could find season 1. No season 1 for podcast??

This story is absolutely incredible. 10/10 would recommend. Enchanting story. Inspirational character development. Vivid imagery. You will not be disappointed!

Just finished the series. A horrible and wonderful tale of one man’s journey to defeat the evil that lives among us and in another reality he is dragged unwittingly into. Klavan weaves the words that kept me coming back for more until the glorius ending. Masterful acting by Michael Knowles. I...Read full review »

I'm not super cultured or very deep, but this story was well written and excellently performed... in my opinion. If you're on the fence about it I suggest just diving in. You won't regret it!!!Read full review »

Just “binged” listened to 6 episodes last night. Can’t seem to access the first season but it doesn’t matter. There’s a synopsis available to get one up to speed. Ever since I was passed a copy of True Crime, Klavan has been one of my favourite authors. This new venture of his does not disappoint.

Klavan is excellent. Knowles... not bad as well (despite what Shapiro says about him :)

This season grabs you right away and you are hanging on for the ride, in a nice Mercedes S-Class.

I’m in middle of the final season and is it just me or has Michael suddenly and inexplicably improved at narrating? He was good before, but now he’s amazing. I’m really hooked on the story too. Even the few low-action stretches are full of witty phrases and clever word pairings. Well written and...Read full review »

I love this story! The Christian world owes a huge debt to Klavan for bringing us meaningful stories that tell the truth. It gets better with every season and it really needs to be a TV show!
JoelBerr via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/16/19
Klavan has outdone himself with this season. Each episode ends in a cliffhanger (so far). Knowles, as usual, does an outstanding audio.

I am not a movie producer or anything like Austin Lively... but all of his challenges feel like mine. Be a man, let wisdom reign.

This book series (and I only have listened to the first 2 episodes of this season) made my top 3 favorite book series

Just when I thought I knew what to expect, this book completely took me by surprise and I’ve been on the edge of my seat waiting for each episode.
Jupc93 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/14/19
I love both Klavan and Knowles, and this is a well crafted and intriguing story. However, there is a fairly gratuitous sex scene in the first episode, which was pretty unnecessary, I get that it’s showing how far the character has sunk but it didn’t have to be as detailed as it was. Kinda ruined...Read full review »

„Another Kingdom“ is a very interesting experiment, something between a radio play and an audio book. It tells a story that is quite ridiculous and over-the-top when taken at face value. However, within that absurdity, it tells a very meaningful story about masculinity (and lack thereof).

At first I was confused. Then I was angry. Then I was dissapointed, but not surprised. Austin Lively has reverted from hero to pusillanomous (spell check, please) worm. All it took was a little success. Oh well, we can take comfort in the fact that season 3 of Another Kingdom will surely...Read full review »

Andrew Kevin is at the top of his illustrious game. I only wish that I could thank Kevin in person for the gift which is the second season of Another Kingdom. Absolutely love this series. Season two was even better than the first (and the first was great). Can't wait each week for new episodes, now I have to wait for season 3.... Michael you were great this season! The last three episodes mesmerized me! Your Orosgo sounded like another person. You made this story come alive. And Andrew... now I have to find everything you’ve created and either read it or watch it, thank you.

I’m now starting season 2 and Andrew Klavan brilliantly portrays natural masculinity in Austin Lively and portrays the evils of a communist utopia. However, I am not fond of the salty language.
josh61716 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 12/03/18
Very entertaining, and it masterfully illustrates some sorely-needed messages about the evil of totalitarianism and the goodness of chivalry and honor.
Boycotting_MSM via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/01/18
This is a wonderful combination of fantasy and film noir romance by one of the masters. Klavan’s concept draws one in to follow two story lines in two worlds somehow linked by an enchanted book. You can watch the hero Austin Lively grow from a schlub into a man as he confronts one challenge after...Read full review »
