I had no idea I could be armed with so many tools to help my life-long struggle with anxiety. I always thought I had to ‘suck it up’ but happy to hear the exact opposite-practicing self care-is the best way to soothe my anxious mind. As I continue to make healthier choices (I’m caffeine-free for 1 year!) I’m reminded of how these tiny actions executed regularly really do add up. When I don’t perform self care on a given day, I feel it. I often listen to your podcast while doing housework since I tend to rush around needlessly, causing even more anxious feelings trying to be a Tasmanian devil of cleaning. So good to b reminded to slow down. My new spirit animal is a sloth. Thanks so much for your soothing voices and brilliant messages!
