“I binged it in less than 2 days. As a microbiologist and later working in a research establishment , I found it relatable. The step approach of experimental protocoles , the desire to , perhaps, jump ahead in the testing schedule, the hope, the doubts, the fears, the remorse, the egos of some researcher, the secret , the rational of " but it is for the better good", I felt right there and could empathize with every character because they were not unidimensional. Of course it is fiction but there was enough in there to draw you in that world , make you believe without much " yeah but that part was not that realistic" and allow you to immerse yourself in it.
