“Everything about this podcast is wonderful. Whether it is a guest I know very well or one I have never heard of, Jason is equally prepared to engage deeply and meaningfully. His love of the music and the community it brings and his honest enthusiasm in our age of cynicism and irony is a blessing...”Read full review »

“I didn't know it going in, but Jason's chat with Jenn Wasner was absolutely a conversation I needed to hear this year in order to just get my head a little more right. That talk turned me on to Beverly Glenn Copeland, and now Jason has a talk with him that sent my brain buzzing as well....”Read full review »

“AD Transmissions provides unique, thought-provoking interviews with musicians, authors, and creative types from a variety of artistic backgrounds with keen insight, an easy familiarity, and a refreshingly unhurried pace. Woodbury’s interview style is conversational and nuanced, and each episode...”Read full review »

“Just listened to the interview with Phil Elverum. The host talked most of the time and was mostly ranting about irrelevant stuff. Felt like the listener should of been paid to listen, because it left me feeling like their therapist. Listening left me feeling angry. Also, it seemed like there was...”Read full review »

“You just can’t say enough about Justin Gage and Aquarium Drunkard. Don’t know who the eff these people are or where they came from, but delighted they’re among us. Keep showing us the human race is still evolving!”

“Thanks so much for this awesome, groovy truly creative podcast that is a fantastic radio show for kernels and obscurities from 60s 70s grunge psychedelia with bits and bobs throughout, totally making great use of the format. Thankfully not your typical, bombastic, egoistic podcast. Greatly...”Read full review »

“Always love the content of this podcast. But the audio levels fluctuate from soft voices to loud and music clips are not balanced. It’s an easy fix if they just have the podcast mastered professionally. Don’t force the listener to adjust their volume throughout the entire podcast.
Otherwise...”Read full review »

“Tuned in for the Gillian Welch interview (good stuff, only wished it were a longer segment), stayed for the Marisa Anderson interview--I had somehow never heard of her. Deep appreciation for her level of artistry, overall approach, vision. Nice that towards the end she cites David...”Read full review »

“Loved the AD show and the music they play. But the only updates to this podcast have been interviews which I wish would be a separate podcast altogether. They stopped releasing music in over a year and I'm bummed.”Read full review »

“Truly killer tracks every week from the satellite radio channel find their way to this podcast. Now I can afford to be hungover Friday mornings and still get the best Aquarium Drunkard has to offer.”
“As I fan of the website I was super pleased to see this on iTunes. Finally a music podcast that isn't trance music. Nicely done Aquarium Drunkard”Read full review »
