These guys are fantastic. I've listened to them passionately discussing the scores of movies I've loved and those I've long forgotten and the pleasure is equal (although the Star Wars episodes are the best 😆). Great to see Art of the Score back for more episodes.Read full review »

Listened to all the episodes after the MSO John Williams concert. Have been patiently waiting for more episodes. Was thrilled when we were told at the MSO Hans Zimmerman concert that we would get a Christmas present. Please keep them coming - Braveheart, Shrek, The Dish.

I have discovered this podcast quite late but have practically listened to the entire series back-to-back over the last few weeks. I have long since been a fan of film scores ever since my first viewing of Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, E.T., Titanic, and so many more. I am so glad that you...Read full review »

Really great podcast, I’m actually just starting on my second run through it. There’s just so much packed into every episode, not just about the score but about the movie, the director, Crew and cast. There’s also lots of parallels drawn between different movies and composers and a fair bit of...Read full review »

I was a v average muso but film music was the backbone of my gymnastics life. Was always choreographing in my head… Once you finish school there’s not much of an outlet for average musicianship or rhythmic gym and this just fills me with the same joy that era had. Also there is music in Harry...Read full review »

This is a great podcast that strikes a great balance between somewhat serious discussions on music and general nerdy banter. For a non-musically educated film fan, it provides great background info and really enhances an appreciation of scores that are buried deep in my memory.
