What went wrong after the first season?
The first season was amazingly helpful and entertaining. I turn to Jolie because she is informative and reliable with her advice. I've even purchased her book "my boyfriend barfed in my handbag and other things you can't ask Martha" to have as a quick reference. Sadly, Dave has ruined the show for me. He details the conversation and somehow always turns it away from cleaning. I love Jolie, but like many other busy people I need to choose how to spend my time wisely and cannot justify listening to the podcast when even Jolie cannot stay on topic anymore. Unfortunately the show has turned into an opinionated talk show which touches on cleaning as opposed to an informative source of cleaning information. Please get rid of Dave.Read full review »

More reviews of Ask a Clean Person
I am not a clean person but Jolie is inspiring me. She and her guests are delightful and chill. I expected the host of a cleaning podcast to be uptight - so not the case. Also, no shade to the other guests, but Josh Gondelman is world’s funniest podcast guest.

I've been reading Jolie's columns for years and I love hearing hearing her fun and unique voice out loud too. The advice is always hilarious and spot on!Read full review »

By far my favorite cleanliness-related podcast. It inspires me to buy so many cleaning supplies, and then after buying them I feel so accomplished that I don't actually need to clean. Also Jolie is a national treasure and I want to make a mess just so I have an excuse to send her an email. A+Read full review »
