Life-changing perspective and insights
If you are sometimes (or always) aimless in life, not sure why you’re feeling unlike yourself, are stuck in numbing yourself with video games, social media, and the like, take a listen. I have full confidence these gentlemen will give you an amazing perspective. That said, I would love to hear more discussions on the topic of turning things outside of your control to a higher power. I academically understand this need, but as an atheist, it’s difficult. I’ve read up on the history of AA and specifically James Burwell, which has been personally helpful. I’ve (until this podcast) avoided faith based perspectives, and I realize that was a mistake. Note to agnostics / atheists: Don’t be concerned about this. Even if you get hung up on this, just jump in. The insights are *chef’s kiss*. I know I’ll figure out this hang up eventually. If you’ve been burned by faith based programs or information before, the Patrick brothers are not going to do that to you.
