“Paul and Rob have one of the best podcasts I have heard in a while. I found it after passing my part 107 test and struggling through extensive review of regulations, operations, meteorology, communications and aerodynamics.
You guys are discussing the very topics and issues that are on the top of my mind. I have been shooting video for 30 years and love staying on the cutting-edge of creativity and technology. I have the video skills and know the look and feel I am trying to create. The aerial part was the missing link.
Thank you for providing such useful and entertaining information. (One issue Paul was wondering about aloud during one podcast was the issue of obtaining a flight instructor's signature being required to get the temporary certificate. The signature is only required if you are mailing your application in versus applying online).
Got my notification of temporary certificate TODAY. I have flown dozens of hours of practice flights as a hobbyist. If anyone needs a drone pilot or great videographer in New York state...please let me know.
