“I have listened to this podcast for quite a while and generally find that NT Wright has a well balanced approach to applying his vast theological and historical knowledge to current events and cultural issues. I was very disappointed however by the recent guest who was unabashed in his support for Donald Trump. I could imagine someone saying they had voted for him but now see that he is a danger to American democracy given what followed the 2020 election, but to claim that he was a better choice than Biden with no reservation—in 2022!—is something I would have thought a follower of Jesus would at least think twice about. I hope they will consider getting a counter point to that perspective like Pete Enns, Diana Butler Bass, Esau McCaulley or one like them.”
