Great to learn from a wise teacher who engages with the culture in a loving way

N.T. Wright is by far the most intelligent man on the New Testament in our era. The dude can give you context that you didn’t even know was there. Just an unbelievable podcast with an unbelievable teacher. The 4 stars instead of 5 comes because I genuinely am annoyed with the 2 minute ad breaks...Read full review »

Premier has gone off the deep end placing advancing a leftist political agenda ahead of truth

Would like to get a notification when an actual new episode is out. The replays being released makes it difficult to sort through which ones have already been listened to. If they are all still available, why do replays?

For a North American, NTW is a breath of fresh air I didn’t know I needed. I’ve walked with Jesus as long as I can remember but only now am REALLY excited about the kingdom. It’s given new meaning to my daily life. God bless you!

NT Wright is a scholar who presents his knowledge and wisdom in a simple way that most people can understand and learn. I’ve read most of Wright’s books and these podcasts amplify his knowledge for non-readers especially. Thanks for faithfulness.

I have learned so much about the meaning of scripture through the extensive knowledge of Tom Wright. There are always a few questions about verses that seem as though they could go either way. Tom helps clarify these often difficult and confusing topics. Justin Brierley helps select the questions...Read full review »

Over the last couple of years, I have become a HUGE fan of Dr. Wright!! I have learned so much from him about the Scriptures and have grown closer to God through his podcasts and videos. Thank you for sharing these with us!

Very good listen, but they stopped putting out new shows about a year ago and they’ve all been repeats since then. I do enjoy the variety of questions and expertise and insight given to them all. Wish the show would come back

What a podcast! Anyone of any faith who is seeking well-reasoned and insightful responses to theological, pastoral, and overall thought-provoking questions would do well to give this a listen. I profess to be a Christian and have found hearing NT Wright’s thoughts to be very helpful.

This podcast is one of my go to’s. I am a missionary in Brazil and have read many of Tom’s books. This podcast can be listened to independently of his books but it makes an ever better companion for those who have read or are reading any of Tom’s books.

I’ve been making my way through all of the past episodes on my commute and sometimes wish I had a longer drive. Dr Wright has helped me understand scripture at a much deeper level. Even when I disagree with him, I find myself understanding countering positions much better than before.

The host has a frustrating habit of dropping his voice at the end of a sentence. I listen lying down and have to have the speed at .75 and with the variation in volume, I end up just turning it off. NTW is very interesting.

Tom Wright is a calm, scholarly voice in an increasingly complex culture. He is kind, gentle and wise, and has years of thorough theological and historical study to back up what he says. Justin is an excellent facilitator.

These interviews have led to continue research and reading from NT Wright. His knowledge and rational approach to scripture in modern living, have been very helpful as I look for answers to help conservative Christians who feel bound to theology that is bringing them extreme, anxiety and depression.

Well that aged well. How are all those vaccine side affects treating you. My friend had a heart attack randomly after getting the jab. Perhaps don’t jump to a conclusion that involves real science. Vaccine safety takes years to develop not months.

I love hearing NT Wiright’s thoughts and insights on culture and faith and how to make sense of it all. He doesn’t shy away from tough theological questions. My only complaint is Justin Brierley is a bit too eager to interrupt NT or even finish his sentences for him if there is the slightest...Read full review »

I have greatly enjoyed this podcast in the past and am so grateful for Dr. Wright and his work. However, there were some difficult episodes at the end of last year with a guest cohost (Justin Bass?) that were very frustrating to listen to. This is a wonderful project that brings NT Wright closer to each of us every week. Thank you Professor Wright for your insight and ability to bring the Biblical narrative into the 21st century with a critical understanding of the first century context. I always enjoy and appreciate the dialogue....Read full review »

I am so thankful for this podcast, and Tom and Justin. I am learning so much. I have had questions for so long, and am finally hearing proper scholarship and getting answers to those questions. I recommend the podcast to everyone. Thank you for this ministry!!

I’m so happy to have been introduced to NT Wright. After having finished a Bible school in the word of faith movement I felt things were just out of focus and sometimes plain wrong. The first book I read was the New Testament people of God. Maybe not the average starting book for most readers....Read full review »

This podcast is, in my opinion, one of the top 3 Christian podcasts. Tom Wright’s thoughtful and compelling analyses and teaching is uplifting and edifying. His very clear exposition of Biblical truths, and long-held untruths (e.g. the pernicious influence of Platonic ideas) is refreshing. I...Read full review »

Really appreciate NTW’s considered point of view. Many times I find here a sort of Christian bridge between the old and new worlds, both in the geographical (Europe-America) sense and the chronological (1st century-21st century) sense. To Justin and Tom, thanks for the great work!

Thank you NT Wright and Justin for such a great podcast, I actually found Dr Tom’s teachings via someone who was critiquing his views on eschatology, and I have never stop following. I have learned a ton from this show and really matured my faith. Especially so for people with an evangelical background who like me grew up with a very limited view of the gospel which didnt really give a convincing framework for how we should then live. I love the dynamic between Tom and Justin Bass. In a day where certain ideologies are corrupting the minds of our youth and turning them away from God, it’s vital that the church boldly speak the truth. It’s good to be proud of your country? Seek raw power through the govt? Transgender fear mongering? Jesus doesn’t chase down those who are deconstructing? I’m disappointed that Wright and Brierly didn’t push back on any of these points.
