Life saving
This podcast is beautiful. The writing, the music, the performances, the sound design- it sounds so real and yet is so perfectly crafted. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever heard before... the story is excellently structured, each episode left me wanting more. I can see why others might need time to digest this because the subject matter can be challenging- but representing domestic violence is imperative to confronting the epidemic of violence (yes, even within LGBTQ culture). This story is rendered in such an immersive and innovative way. It took my breath away. I shared it with a friend for whom I’ve been concerned due to what I believe is abusive behavior of her partner, and she said that listening to this show made her wonder if she’s being abused. The show did for her what I never could, and I am forever grateful. This podcast will save lives.
