“My favorite episodes feature people who work in the entertainment industry sharing their personal stories of the unexplained. Though I’ve listened to every episode, I always hope that’s what the content will be and it would be a dream if there were a sister podcast to this show that just featured interviews with industry folks.
And I’m one of the people who LOVES the sound effects. Please keep them. That’s what makes the show storytelling and not just people talking at each other.
They mimic those moments when you’re away on a shoot, have an unexpected break and get into sharing personal stories. There are only so many recycled topics that you see over and over again on shows and in listicles about the “unexplained” but there are countless personal stories out there that are completely unique. (The Queen Mary episode inspired me to call my best friend who lives a thousand miles away and now she’s an avid listener too.)
There are many podcasts about the paranormal that I listen to (which is weird…because I’m a die-hard skeptic) but this is the only one that treats it’s material with levity and has such high caliber guest stars and sound design. (Paula Pell’s Twitter feed brought me here!) Scott and Forrest are the Click and Clack of paranormal podcasts, bringing quality and humor to an otherwise over-saturated topic.
