“I completely agree with the premise of the podcast, which is the extreme danger of nuclear weapons. Although the show can present great insights to both the horrors of nuclear warfare, as well as the challenges to nuclear disarmament, way too much of the show is spent on highlighting Perry’s work. From highlighting his legacy to an unbalanced view of all Republican legislation, Perry’s granddaughter does not do the topic justice. I understand that the narrative is biased having been a relic from the Clinton presidency. And justifiably, actions by certain Republican lawmakers haven’t helped. However the podcast refuses to evaluate antagonistic players on the world stage. The discussion of North Korea is extremely disingenuous, and there’s no mention of India or Pakistan. Lisa Perry would’ve been much better as a biographer of William Perry, instead of posing a podcast on serious discussions of nuclear warfare, or nuclear weapons escalation.”
