I have read 32 books, viewed 34 movies/videos, read dozens of scientific articles, and attended several conferences on subjects addressed in this podcast. I learned about this podcast from an elder activist during a nuclear protest march in NYC last year. I find this series to be the most...Read full review »

I completely agree with the premise of the podcast, which is the extreme danger of nuclear weapons. Although the show can present great insights to both the horrors of nuclear warfare, as well as the challenges to nuclear disarmament, way too much of the show is spent on highlighting Perry’s...Read full review »

Thank you for doing this. Please keep it up, especially the focus on the technical, institutional, and psychological underpinnings of how nuclear war could happen by “mistake”. I think one of the main reasons we as a society are less afraid of nuclear war than we should be is that we cling to the...Read full review »

A revelation of modern governmental madness

While I understand that the podcast is strongly against nuclear weapons, there is no voice for the opposite argument (only one sentence per episode, and is read by the narrator as to having someone with that position present their argument).

The information presented in this podcast is expertly laid out. There are more than a few existential risks that threaten humanity today, it’s unbelievable that we can overlook such pressing issues. The minuscule amount of coverage on these issues is appalling. Awareness is the first step toward...Read full review »

Even as someone who works in this field and is familiar with many of the concepts discussed, I learn something from every episode. So grateful for the Perrys’ efforts in this fight and inspired to help where I can!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this podcast and the conversations had in it. Your conversation with Sam Harris brought me here. The production quality, the stories, and the knowledge dispensed in this podcast are brilliant, essential, a bit terrifying at times, and then heartwarming. This podcast...Read full review »

There are a lot of good materials from which you can learn about the politics, history and thinking behind nuclear weapons, but none seem to be as effective and memorable as this podcast. Even if you are not interested in this topic, you would have learned something, and more importantly...Read full review »

Top notch storytelling about an important and urgent topic. Raises questions we all should be thinking about—and urging our elected officials for solutions to the nuclear threats that exist today.

On the 75th anniversary of when the United States dropped the world’s first atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima, killing some 140,000 people we must support those trying to make sure this never happens again. Even a small nuclear exchange would, though climate disruption, destroy most...Read full review »

Great podcast! Interesting and well produced. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the thought that nuclear weapons are still a threat terrifies me.

I can probably count myself among many, who although aware of the danger of nuclear weapons, have allowed that awareness to sink to the back of their mind out of a comfortable carelessness. A most pressing subject. I’m old enough to remember my father’s helpless panic during the Cuban Missile Crisis. If we have a duty to understand the risks of climate change, surely we have a duty to understand the risks of nuclear war. This podcast is a great way to educate oneself. A new generation of activists is rising that can change the status quo.
