Very surface level
I was excited about this pod to start but it seemed to have become a surface level retelling of the weekly games. Great if you are a new fan or to play for kids but not engaging as a soccer fan who knows and understands the game. Listening it often feels like the hosts are simply giving an eye test of players and games, and on more than one occasion I have found them to be critical of players performance in games when those players have produced excellent stats during the match. Other than player interviews, which they are fortunate to get due to their CBS production, I don’t think it’s worth the hour long listen.

More reviews of Attacking Third
Sandra and Lisa are amazing at recapping, previewing, analyzing everything going on in the NWSL (and with the Olympics). Can’t wait for each episode to drop. Thank you.
