Very surface level
I was excited about this pod to start but it seemed to have become a surface level retelling of the weekly games. Great if you are a new fan or to play for kids but not engaging as a soccer fan who knows and understands the game. Listening it often feels like the hosts are simply giving an eye test of players and games, and on more than one occasion I have found them to be critical of players performance in games when those players have produced excellent stats during the match. Other than player interviews, which they are fortunate to get due to their CBS production, I don’t think it’s worth the hour long listen.

More reviews of Attacking Third
Finally, a dedicated podcast focused on women’s soccer. Sandra and Lisa are amazing and really know their stuff, each episode has the feel of two friends hanging out and gushing over their love of soccer. Love it!

Now we learn she probably won’t play this...Read full review »
