Just listened to episode one, simply because I'm a big Mike Doughty fan. This is like listening to a conversation I would, and should, have. Host is not too cool for school. I like the fact that he's a comedian (they always have the best podcasts). Really liked it. Good way to get exposed to new...Read full review »

Absolutely love this podcast, crossing my fingers for new episodes soon. Christian is a natural host and brings out the inner music geek from some fantastic guests. Hands down my favorite podcast.

Dear Mr Christian, I have taken your father's advice, as given at the conclusion of every episode of the podcast since he appeared, and hit the cannonball at 40 miles an hour. With my broken hand in a cast, I am now neither happy nor an engineer.

This podcast has introduced me to new, awesome music, and also has great discussions about music, which I love. I always get excited when I see a new one come up on my iTunes.

Christian Finnegan is funny, insightful and just plain entertaining. His podcast is an interesting mix of music reviews and guest interviews. He is a natural and his ease in the host chair is evident throughout. Listen to this podcast, you won't be dissapointed.

I've been acquainted with Christian for some time, and have always been impressed by how he combines the hilarious with the endearingly nerdy. He mixes those traits perfectly on his podcast—smart but approachable, funny but enlightening.

My problem with a lot of music nerd podcasts is that the hosts always seem to be soooooooooo pretentious about their music taste. Christian can tell you the names of the members of Cinderella with the appropriate amount of shame that should be applied to knowing that the band Cinderella even...Read full review »

Nothing as delightful as finding out that one of my favorite comedians is also a fellow music geek. I love this show!! And I want Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane over the Sea to open my funeral (preferably with a cinematic montage of my life) and Guided By Voices' Motor Away to close it.

When I first heard Christian talk about this podcast (on another show), I imediately came to iTunes to download. I love music and music podcasts. I like that he has played with the format of the show-changing the order, number of songs, etc. I love the themes and the fact that they can be...Read full review »

It’s great to listen to people talk about music and it’s sometimes fun to discover a tune I’ve never heard. Christian admits he hates Bob Dylan which, of course, means he’s insane. The podcast is still a good listen.

THIS is the music conversations you WISH you were having with your friends. if you have ever made 'top' lists or playlists to anything… or even a mix tape for your live interest, the format will be interesting. Do you love your music a little too much? No one understands you, do they? Are those pesky kids and their crappy pop music making you role your eyes so hard you have a headache? What a great podcast, really enjoy listening to these songs and discovering new songs every time that I've never heard of. Keep the episodes coming. Nice balance of music & chat and I've downloaded a number of tracks already just from listening to this show.

Every episode of this podcast is a treat. This podcast just started a few months ago and it's already become one of my favorite. I know there are already a ton of music-related shows out there but the hosts bring such a charming mix of humor and insight that it always enriches my day when I hear them.

Christian is inherently funny, so besides the fact that this is an interesting listen, it's always cool to hear new music or be reminded of things you like, while laughing. Any music podcast that recommend Fishbone, the Futureheads and Hall and Oates in the same hour is one that truly knows what's great about music, instead of just what's cool or trendy now. A fantastic fit for Christian Finnegan and so far, he's picked some really wonderful guests.
